Weight Loss Already!!

OK So I'm embarking on day 3 of the fruit juice fast.

I know I shouldn't have done it but I jumped on the scales this morning and guess what? I'm 16 stone 4lb..........That's a massive 6lb lost in 2 full days!

I need this sort of dramatic initial weight loss to spur me on, and needless to say that this morning I feel very excited and happy and of course very proud of myself!

To be honest I'm actually finding it very easy at the minute. I don't feel hungry and I don't feel full. I just feel 'nothing'.
Last night I went shopping and bought myself some more  fruit.

When I got home I juiced 2 pineapples and 2 coconuts. The coconuts I had to get my husband to help me with though.

Now you might think that with all this fruit juice that I would be constantly on the toilet but surprisingly ...........I'm not. So far I have no adverse effects of this diet, no headaches, no upset tummy, no fatigue as of yet. In fact I feel great, and so energetic this morning. My belly was making weird loud gurgling noises last night but that's about it.

I do get exercise by way of walking my two dogs every day, but I don't do anything too energetic.
Generally speaking my day involves me sitting on the setee on my laptop most of the day and spend a lot of time sat down.

Which got me thinking about the stuff that I normally eat, home made pies, chips with nearly every tea, takeaways on a Friday night, toast, bread, crisp butties. essentially a heavy carb diet and how stodgy and unhealthy it really is.

This weekend I intend to try and blend at least half a carrot with my oranges to see how I go on and whether I can get past my mental block of vegetables!

My aim with this fast at the moment is to go for 10 days and see how I get on and then if I am seeing dramatic results then to carry on for 30 days.

I AM still drinking 2 or 3 cups of coffee in the mornings with skimmed milk and 2 sugars in each, which I know that if I was doing this as a detox would be out of the question but I have cut so much out of my diet already that my husband and I decided that this is my 'treat'.

Lets see how I get on on day 3!!!
